<html>"do you make the tiddler localside and then save TW onto Blogger, or is the normal method to post a blog entry on blogger the gateway to input your content?" All posts are made through Blogger as normal. That means you can use any blog posting software you like, as long as it's compatable with Blogger.</html> /n /n posted by Ken @ 9/29/2005 Blog posts go through Blogger comments

<html>(11:14 AM): do you make the tiddler localside and then save TW onto Blogger, or is the normal method to post a blog entry on blogger the gateway to input your content?

BTW, I use the HTML Plugin on my TW to have a tiddler that goes straight to a brand new blogger post field. So when I want to make my blog entry, I click the WikiWord on my TW and it opens up, and I start writing. It works great!<br /><a href="https://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=12429135&postID=112724878422997245">Leave a comment</a></html>
<html>Well, it looks like I won't be using HTML in tiddlers any time soon. The HTMLFormattingPlugin works great. The only problem is, it stores the < and > signs as &lt; and &gt;. The Blogger Template Tags output normal HTML tags, which TiddlyWiki still can't understand. I need a way to hack TiddlyWiki so it understands normal HTML. Next I'm going to start fooling around with other <div>s and see if that works.</html> /n /n posted by Ken @ 9/20/2005 Hmm.. No HTML comments

<html>So the plugin is working. Now all I have to do is figure out how to get it to work with blogger's tags. According to the plugin's documentation, the html portions of a tiddler are interpreted using the browser's internal rendering engine. As far as I know, blogger's tags never actually go to the browser. Blogger replaces them with its own html code before the page served to the reader. I just need to find out exactly what html each specific blogger tag spits out.</html> /n /n posted by Ken @ 9/20/2005 HTMLFormattingPlugin working comments

<html>I've been trying to get ELSDesign's http://www.elsdesign.com/tiddlywiki/#HTMLFormattingHelp to work, but for some reason, it doesn't seem to be loading. I tagged it with systemConfig and everything. I'll do what I can. If I can just find a way to make TiddlyWiki understand HTML contained within a Tiddler, I can get this site working 100%.</html> /n /n posted by Ken @ 9/20/2005 HTML with Tiddler comments

<html>Unfortunately, Blogger automatically converts comment line breaks into <br/> tags, which TiddlyWiki rejects. You can turn off the "automatically convert line breaks" option for your main blog posts in Bloggers formatting settings, but there's nothing you can do for comment posts. So anything written after a line break in a comment tiddly is not displayed. To post a comment with line breaks, type "\ n" (without the space) instead of hitting enter when you leave a comment.</html> /n /n posted by Ken @ 9/18/2005 Comments and line breaks comments
<html>(4:10 PM): http://www.google.com\nbold\n boy, this line break thing is a little inconvenient.<br /><a href="https://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=12429135&postID=112707330650628060">Leave a comment</a></html>
<html>Each post now has its own corresponding comment tiddly. You can read and post comments. I'm having trouble getting the author of the comment's name to display though, since blogger's <$BlogCommentAuthor$> tag contains HTML.</html> /n /n posted by Ken @ 9/18/2005 Comments sort of working comments

<html>Something about the code Blogger uses to display their navbar at the top of the site was interfering with the verticle alignment of the entire TiddlyWiki. I fixed it by modifying the CSS and giving the "body" class the top:-50 attribute. Everything lines up well now.</html> /n /n posted by Ken @ 9/16/2005 Problem with Blogger Navbar fixed comments

<html>I finally got the BlogItemBody blogger tag working. Apparently you have to go to Settings/Formatting, and then turn off "Enable float alignment." Now you can actually read whatever I post.</html> /n /n posted by Ken @ 9/16/2005 BlogItemBody working comments

<html>"Can I convert the TiddlyWiki into a Blogger template?" Sort of. Blogger's tags are kinda tricky, and I've never built a Blogger template before. Still, I know HTML, and help files for everything else can be found on the web. I was looking for good note-taking software that would combine the simplicity of Notepad, with the automatic cross-referencing ability of a wiki. I also wanted something that I could run on my own computer, without having to mess with all that server side stuff. After all, I just needed it for my own notes. And so my search brought me to the http://www.tiddlywiki.com. Since the entire program and all the data were contained in a single HTML file, the wheels in my head started turning... The results of my experiments are posted here for you to see.</html> /n /n posted by Ken @ 9/16/2005 Welcome to the TiddlyBlogger comments
